For both reviews

1. Each floor, clearly labelled. Show room uses, entrance, doors, windows and stairs.
2. A north reference and direction information. Include where and how any compass reading was taken. The consultant determines the assessment basis.
3. Building history. Construction, major renovation and move-in dates are separate. Unknown is an acceptable answer at this stage.
4. How you use the home. Mark the bed, stove and primary desk where possible. Describe fixed items and your main questions.

For the $99 surroundings review

Add a location or map, a north reference, entrance and window-view photographs. For an apartment, add your floor level and distinguish the unit entrance from the main building entrance.

Keep sensitive documents out.

You do not need ownership papers, identification, bank details or a full family birth history for the initial preparation check. Private plan uploads are not open yet.
