The bed: position before decoration
Mark the bedroom, the headboard, doors and windows on your plan. The headboard’s location and the direction a person faces are different pieces of information. A practitioner should be clear about which one a recommendation refers to. Fixed wardrobes, access around the bed and safe escape routes remain practical constraints.
The desk: a place used for long periods
Show where you sit, which way you face and what is behind and in front of you. A desk used for eight hours a day deserves different attention from a side table. An assessment may identify a preferred part of the room, then work within it to preserve usable light, comfortable access and a sensible working position.
The kitchen: explain before proposing a move
The kitchen’s sector, the stove’s location and its relationship with the entrance may all be considered. A useful recommendation distinguishes an everyday adjustment from a major renovation. Moving a stove can involve gas, electrical, ventilation and building requirements; a Feng Shui report is not approval to alter those systems.
The entrance and the line through the home
A plan can show whether an entrance lines up with another opening. The actual distance, intervening rooms and daily use also matter. The presence of an alignment alone should not be used to frighten a homeowner into buying an object. The interpretation needs to be tied to the full arrangement.
What if the furniture is not on the plan?
A report can still explain which identified areas are suitable or unsuitable for certain uses, provided the required home information is available. It should not claim that your current headboard is in a particular sector when its position has never been supplied.
What to prepare
